Calm your worries. What is your worry condition? Are you troubled by your anxieties and suffering from your disturbing thoughts. Don’t torment yourself any longer today is a day all by itself. Matthew 6:34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today” We fight against so many thoughts whether we are worried about our home, family, finances, relationships, and multiple circumstances we can think of.
I started to keep a record of my worries by writing my worries in a journal and reflect on what it is I’m most worried about, so I know what I’m up against and have a clear understanding of what I’m praying for. Philippians 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done” We tend to worry no one cares for us, so in result to that we are in our feelings most of the time about “worry” no one loves me, no one calls me, no one has shown appreciation, and the list goes on. 1 Peter 5:7 ”Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” I care about you as well I care enough to help you and get a whole of our worries.
Let’s go in-depth with our worries they can be small or big, a small worry increased to something big, or a big worry now let’s decrease it to something small. Ask yourself this Luke 12:25 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? No, but it can surely take away from your life. Worry is a thief itself John 10:10 “Purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life” Do you believe in giving your worries to God? How can God take care of your worries if you are not giving them to him? Do you not trust in the Lord your God. John 14:1 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me”
