Are you being Hindered
1 Thessalonians 2:18-20 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.
In this scripture, Paul explains going to see some people and haven’t seen them in a long time, but have been hindered in the process.
Hinder (verb) to cause delay, interruption, or difficulty in; hamper; impede Ex. I have been hindered to move forward with my progress.
How many of us can relate to being hindered in the process? What do you do when you are hindered? Do you know when you are being hindered? I ask these questions because I want you live out your full potential and you can’t do that with other people in your way or maybe you are in your own way. Let’s imagine you are on your way wherever you are going and someone comes out of nowhere stops you with this long conversation on why you shouldn’t go the way you are going and the way they think you should go. You are being delayed and interrupted. Next time you have a meaningless conversation think about your hindrance. One thing we try to avoid is being hindered on our way to work. Some people might not know the tricks of the enemy, but will sit there and engage in a talk knowing they are running late. Take control of being hindered. Being hindered can go so many ways acknowledge all ways from someone interrupting you on your journey, your dreams and goals, doing what God want you to do, living out your spiritual gifts, and so forth. I mentioned your dreams and goals because I want people to be aware of when it’s your desires of your heart vs. someone wanting you to fit in for their purpose which hinders you from living out your purpose.
