The Significance of A Rose

Blossom as the Rose

What are the odds I decided I post about roses during the month of February? It’s no coincidence I also want to ask women why do we expect flowers and roses from a man we are not in a committed relationship with? What does it mean for you to receive flowers from anyone? So pretty much you’re asking for traditional classic red roses because I doubt some men know the meaning of each color rose. Why can’t we buy our own flowers the way we like them instead of putting an expectation on a man who doesn’t even understand our vision. Stop demanding things from ppl you don’t even do for yourself.

For this half of the blog post, I’m here at one of my friend’s house after getting back from a day of shopping. All the Rose pictures are my own I was actually having fun in the grocery store taking them I probably creeped some ppl out by taking random pictures of roses. When the idea popped in my head I had to act on it right away. My friend said if someone gave her flowers it’s more than likely going to be roses but she’s not that big of a fan she’s the sunflower, daisies, lilacs are the best for her.

I chose roses because I think roses have more sentimental value they’re more heartfelt vs random flowers not everyone know that different color roses have their own meaning. it’s like oh flowers to where roses it’s more like “where you going with this” getting a red rose may sometimes mean more than just “I’m thinking of you” a Red Rose symbolizes Love & Romance expressing your love for someone without actually saying I love you but you mean I love you. Take a look at these roses and tell me what you think.

  1. I’ve never bought myself flowers or anyone else for that matter. I’ve never had someone buy me flowers either and I’m okay with it. I think they look lovely, (my friend has her house full of flowers and it’s wonderful) but I’m also alright without them.
The culture of flowers was never practiced in front of me but I’m willing to learn.

  2. Thank you. I remember growing up picking ppl flowers from their yard or just picking flowers because they were pretty. It’s definitely a lot to learn. You don’t have to go spend $150 on flowers you can reuse your own vase and pick them from nature for those that are creative.
