Homemade Oatmeal Frankincense & Myrrh Facial Mask

Oatmeal was used back in the day and this is how homemade self-health started because this is all you had. The point of the Mask is to help with dried out purities this mix can be used for any parts of your body.

The basic ways to use essential oils 1. On your skin, 2. Aromatic in the air, and 3. Internal it has to have supplement facts in order to use the oil internally. As you can see below I got to use my medicinal skills by putting 3 drops of Copaiba and Tumeric in vegetable caps. I don’t practice medicine just having fun.

The reason I chose Frankincense & Myrrh was because of its origin dating back thousands of years ago and I practice it’s culture like it’s my own (it might be), frankincense giving off a sweet, citrus scent and myrrh producing a piney, bitter odor. Myrrh oil served as a rejuvenating facial treatment, while frankincense was charred and ground into a power to make the heavy kohl eyeliner Egyptian women famously wore. I study a lot of practices from the Middle East, North Africa, and Africa. Check out it’s history.

Oatmeal: 1 Cup

Hot Water: 1 Cup or thickened to your liking stir for the consistency of what you want your product to be.

Notes: Let it sit and soak in for 5-15 mins, wash it off ASAP if it starts to harden. Remake to keep fresh this will last for up to a week if you want more shelf life keep it in the refrigerator. Remember you can always add but you can’t take out.
