Homemade Whipped Cocoa Butter

Whipped Body Butter

All natural products used with 100% refined Coconut Oil, Raw Cocoa butter & African Shea butter.

Moisturizing 4oz body butter for all purposes made right at home saves you money and free from all those chemicals. This is my first time making whipped body butter from scratch once I get use to making it I can make everyone their own jars. These are great for gifts and goodie bags especially when you want to have fun with making labels for your brand. It smells so good.

1/2 cup Shea Butter

1/2 cup Cocoa Butter

1/2 cup Coconut Oil

1/2 cup Coconut Oil Fractionated

img_8543Once you mixed your products in a bowl or the pot with a double boiler if you don’t have a double boiler you can use a metal bowl and place it over boiling hot water for complete liquid all the liquids has to liquify, and then put your bowl in the freezer until your edges are solid and the middle is solidified keep an eye on it. If you use a boiler transfer that liquid to a bowl.

Once that is completed and out the freezer you want to Whip it with your mixer on a high speed but don’t over mix it, it will liquify again and you don’t want that.

To complete add your oils or about 3 Essential Oils up to 10-12 drops to top it off with a fragrance. I used Balance, Myrrh, and Copaiba. Here you have your rich luxury body butter.

  2. A lipbalm is what I have in mind , but I have to dig out my beeswax block . My boyfriend ordered it for something else and it didn’t work out for him so I need to use it . But I’m not sure what else I can add to the balm . Maybe shea butter as well .
