Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi Burruss – Tucker and husband Todd Tucker came together on an idea to share some home Southern recipes. I love their family traditional recipes and how each member of the family has their own recipe on the menu.
The cornbread muffins with Kandi’s homemade honey icing and syrup. I tried to get the recipes but you know how that goes. I walked away with no recipe.
I ordered the Old Lady Gang House Salad. This chicken is on point I need the recipe for that too. It was really good and my waiter made sure I was good and if he was too busy I made sure I asked with no problem.
Some of the credit goes to Aunt Joyce mother of Kandi, Aunt Bertha, and Aunt Nora who is the “Old Lady Gang” are the ones who taught Kandi to throw down in the kitchen. The Old Lady Gang is located right in the city’s Historic + Art District which is the Castleberry Hill neighborhood in Atlanta, GA
The 2nd bar is the downstairs lounge.
If you watched Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of Atlanta you would have seen the introduction of OLG.
When you in Atlanta, GA make sure you stop by and show love. It’s not that intimidating you might be nervous for a bit but then once you warm up everyone is so laid back and respectful. All photos are my own.

1. BE WITH THE BRAND
Never be afraid of your flaws that just might be the one thing we identify with. What is Angelina Jolie known for? You’re right you guess it. Her lips. The one thing I love about Madonna she never fixed her gap. Stop trying to buy perfect and use your signature part as part of your brand. (not so much Lebron James he fixed his hairline) We will definitely accept it, especially if we don’t have a choice.
2. BE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS
Show your local clients how serious you are about your business they are more likely to take you seriously when awards, diplomas, and certificates are displayed. If you are worried about people stealing plaques or any other collectible vintage items chances are you have the wrong clients. Display your professional images. Your office is not a place for the things your grandparents gave you. Think about upgrading to one more bedroom or maybe you can turn the guest room into the home office. Make it very clear that people are not coming to lounge around. (sidenote) Some people are unorganized and easily distracted when everything is all in one when it comes to working from home. I have been seeing a lot of influencers and entrepreneurs say they are ready for their physical office.
3. BE ACTIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
What’s is your Social Media language? Are you the influence you destined to be? Figure out a way that people can interact with you if you’re not gonna reply to every question. Create a hashtag whether it’s for asking you something or just sending tweets your way. #Ask(your name) or create something unique where only your tribe and community can associate with. The hashtag you create can be found by anyone on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Think of something unique that can be associated with only your brand.
4. BE PROFESSIONAL
Always remain professional when it comes to your brand I know you see people out here doing the most and branding themselves in a way they shouldn’t be following the crowd. Don’t make someone’s lifestyle your priority unless you want to offer them Branding Strategies. Know what your brand does and what it doesn’t please keep that in mind when it comes to sharing and promoting other people’s content. Stay real and true to yourself and your brand.

Complimentary stay at The Holiday Inn. I had a wonderful time and I enjoyed every bit of it from when I walked in up until check out even though I had a busy weekend I still found the time to get in the hot tub and that was something I had to do early in the morning to reap the full benefits of sharing one hot tub with numerous guest.
Breakfast came with my stay and was complimentary from the Salvation Army as well as my stay and not the hotel itself. It was a “Womens Getaway” mini vacation. I didn’t eat the bacon or sausage when I ask the server she said, it was pork and I had already refrained from eating pork so I just ate the eggs, fruit, potatoes, and the sweets. I was thinking the hotel should offer a variety of meat.
Wifi was working perfectly fine when I wasn’t in my room. I’m not sure if the signal strength got weak towards the back of the hotel it barely worked in my room, and the wifi was split up in over 3 sections of the hotel. Great high speed internet when using “Holiday Inn Lobby”
The bathroom was a decent size, but the toilet was a little to high. It reminded me of being short and when I sat on the toilet properly my feet were dangling. I wasn’t to happy with the shower drain not sure if that particular hotel needs plumbing work. The water was stopped up each day I took a shower and that was pretty aggravating.
My bed was so comfortable with fresh clean linen and I woke up like this. I loved the fact that I don’t have to make my bed and the housekeepers came into our room and even gave me fresh towels. I didn’t care what pillows were given to me. The Holiday Inn allows you to have your choice of pillows.
I was so busy I didn’t make time for my fitness routine and I felt very guilty of that, but knowing where the fitness room was is good enough for me.
If you forget your laptop and haven’t checked your email they got you covered with 24 hr access to the “Business Center” When I was taking these photos someone walked by and asked “if this was my future office” I just looked at her cause I didn’t know how to take it. How obsessed can someone be by a desktop on a desk. I just thought it was underestimation that lady have no clue of what I do or what executive office I may run and programs I may direct. I learned to look at it as a compliment and her witnessing my business skills and if this is my future office I’m pretty please with no paper work on my desk, so yeah I’ll take it.
