Birth home of Martin Luther King Jr, Atlanta GA

The home that Martin Luther King was born in. King was born in an upstairs bedroom right here in this house January 15, 1929, he then lived here for 12 years of his childhood in the 1930s-40s before it became a rental property.

This house was purchased by King’s maternal grandfather Dr. A. D. Williams. I wonder how much he’s purchased this house for? Around that time the minimum wage was .22 cents an hour and the average worker made $200-$400 a year. I can only imagine.

This area is still an active community today and private residence. To keep this area protected the house on each side have been restored and are part of the historic site.

There are certain times you’re allowed to go in for an inside tour for a fee and no cameras are allowed in the real home (I heard) I didn’t go inside for a tour.

When You Are Convinced That You Belong

Joseph Interprets A Dream

Believe in your Dreams and be clear on what they are. Don’t let nobody tell you what you can’t do. For instance, Isaiah knew what His Dreams were to the point He would visualize every part of them from the time He was five years old living in CA Dreaming of playing in the NBA. Walk in the shoes of your Dreams play out the details clearly and let your vision drive you where you want to be.

Genesis 40:4 “The captain of the guard assigned two men to Joseph, and he attended them”

Have you ever stopped to think God assigned someone to you? You’ll know when someone is assigned to you God will make you aware of that and if not pray for discernment, because there are some people who are ATTACHED to you while others are actually ASSIGNED to you. Know the difference!

8 “We both had Dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your Dreams.” Joseph told them their Dreams and the representation as He predicted and instructed the men to mention Him to Pharaoh.

The men forgot all about Joseph and never mentioned Him to Pharaoh. Some of us can relate to this situation in a way we help out others and put them on to bigger and better things, and as soon as they get on top they forget all about you. Does anyone have the answer to that? Like hello did you not help them with their Dreams.

Lesson: When you’re powerless over a situation, commit to God and live a life that is faithful to His plan.

“You can’t make your Dreams a reality until you learn to believe in yourself until you find that moment when you are convinced that you belong” Isaiah Austin, Pro basketball player Isaiah Austin Foundation
