Here’s something to make for dinner. I thank myself for not being lazy because the only thing that was provided was the sauce I cut up my own chicken breast, peppers, boiled my own broccoli, and rice. I didn’t use everything from the recipe I used the ingredients to my liking.

Glad this took me out of my comfort zone I’m always looking for new recipes instead of making the same ole basics or being something I would order now I can save $15 on Chinese food.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/8 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic

2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1/4 cup water

1 cup chopped yellow onion

1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper

1/2 cup chopped yellow bell pepper

3/4 cup P.F. Chang’s®️ Home Menu Sesame Sauce Toasted sesame seeds

1. Cook the chicken by itself. Add the garlic and ginger during the last 30 seconds of cooking. Season the chicken with your choice.

2. Cook broccoli separate from chicken until tender or your choice if you like the crunch of it.

3. Sauté your peppers and onions by themselves or combine with your chicken to cook on low.

What I did was drain everything once it was all cooked and added it all to one pot then I added the P. F.Chang®️ Home Menu Sesame Sauce then it’ll be ready to serve. Self-explanatory when you know how to cook hope that wasn’t too complicated.

Restaurant Review: Cracker Barrel The Old Country Store

Complimentary meal sponsored by the Salvation Army. My first time in Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Well at least something I can remember. Cracker Barrel offer southern hospitality and is originated from Lebanon, Tennessee. A restaurant where you hear the word “folks” with me being from the east coast and up north I’m learning the many languages and slang of the world. Everything is made fresh daily so I can imagine how much food is being tossed out on a daily prayerfully they can send it to the homeless shelters in need. I don’t know what they do with the food they don’t use. The biscuits are made from scratch and the baked goods are baked freshly throughout the day.

Cracker Barrel want to give you that homestyle love by making you feel comfortable as if you’re eating at your home table. You can share family time while you wait with a fun Peg Game placed on all tables.

I think it’s very interesting for the Old Country Store to be attached to the restaurant and not just this one but mostly all of them. The store offer a wide range of groceries, clothes, accessories, games, and more. The store will soon to add cold cut meat at the deli. One thing Cracker Barrel is known for is their well known cheese.

Cracker Barrel compliments me with a map and suggest I have fun on my road trip. Cracker Barrel has over 630 locations in 42 states, and a gift shop attached to the restaurant.

Weekday lunch special, Country dinner plates, and Homestyle favorites. I was so into the Peg Game I believe our waiter (David) came out in a timely manner. All the aprons have a cool twist to them it’s more of a cooking apron and not a below the waist apron. image

Overall I enjoyed myself and had a southern style experience in Massachusetts.
