Tell your Story and Tell it Well

Making the most of everything I do I’m loving this weather here in Stockbridge, MA home of the famous Norman Rockwell I actually went out to His museum today and then I went to visit his gravestone with a friend I know right we are extreme it’s only 22 mins away from where we live because He was buried before His legacy visiting his grave is like paying respect to anyone you know that’s how up close and personal you can get at the sight, so he literally lives 22 mins away from me. Get Ready To Plan

Get Ready To Plan

Anyone who thinks like me is sick and tired of doing things day by day without planning.

Ask yourself: What skills do I have that will help me plan for a better future? And if I don’t have any skills what programs can I take to help me get the training to best fit my needs.

Are you building your skills? Now ask yourself. Am I reliable, do I communicate effectively, do I have leadership skills, do I work better on a team or do I work better by myself, Am I hardworking (what do I work hard at), how flexible is my schedule, and do I have the motivation that will qualify me to win in life.

Get Organized

I’m not a well-organized person myself, but if we plan together and be a great support we’ll be organized in no time. Are you moving? And the house need packing where do you start first? The least place you feel like packing should be the last place you pack especially the kitchen you don’t pack that first. Say, you cook and now you need the salt, because your packing is unorganized you can’t remember what box you put the condiments in and do you really want to go through every box looking for salt. Don’t forget to name your boxes and it’s ok to separate household departments by colors. Let’s just use moving as an example. In order to be well-organized, we should pack the things that are already out the way, and the things we don’t want to take with us we can leave them right where they are or assume our trash will be someone’s treasure.

What Motivates You?

I know that may sound like a silly question. Let’s just say we all have different motives. For me, my motivation is to have a healthy lifestyle and I don’t just mean by what I eat I’m talking about my relationships, connections, spending habits, friendships, and more. Are you working for the company of your dreams? Some people are probably so big-headed they have it all figured out. When you can’t take the vacation you have been planning for or your company doesn’t pay you for being on vacation. How would you view your motivation? It’s never too late to get motivated maybe fashion motivates you having a certain pair of shoes or sneakers, maybe owning a house motivate you, or maybe driving your dream car is motivating you. I’m here to give you that extra push and to show you how important it is to plan because without planning you are unorganized and less motivated.

Bible Study Sermon: Injured by Opposition

Injured by Opposition with Wounds of A Passion

The price of speaking the gospel, and spreading the good news of Jesus, and church establishing with the power of God.

  • There will be confrontation and conflict
  • The ministry of Peter & The Apostles (Peter who was known for his cockiness. Peter was too good to say, God, I’m weak and when He finally let God use him Peter became a humble and effective leader)
  • Opposition – When people are staying in your way to hold you up and tear you down. Speak these words: I will NOT let anyone stand in my way.

Acts 5

The Holy Spirit is very active in Acts it comes with power especially to the believers to help guide and strengthen the church and their leaders and gives the power to change lives.

17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. 19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.” 21 At daybreak, they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people.

27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! 30 The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. 31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins. 32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.” 33 When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. 34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while

38 Therefore, in the present case, I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God” 40 His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.

This is what happens in the lives of the believers and disciples that met in Jerusalem. The Apostles were constantly fighting with the religious establishment on who they can serve and where they can preach, and when you think about it, it’s like the religious establishment was only in their way as they try to grow their relationship with God and heal or whatever the Apostles were going to do to help with the recovering process. Slowing up the process keeping them distracted from their purpose. Now when you know God is talking to you and you choose otherwise you will stray from what he’s called you to do had they listen to the establishment they would have walked away like ok we won’t preach the good news sorry about that, but because their faithfulness in serving God they kept pressing on through opposition. They would have been obeying other people and not God. Had they stopped preaching the good news they could not be used by God?

Touch your neighbors and say: Do what you gotta do but I’m worthy to speak the good news.

Nothing can stop you when Its Gods will for your life remain faithful to God and he will take care of you. God will not let anything happen to you as you can see He kept the Apostles and didn’t let nothing stop them from doing His good work.

I Trusted God And Kept My Focus On The Work In Front Of Me

Dream Again With Isaiah Austin

Being brought a bad report and still have the hope to Dream Again. Joseph was someone who was loved deeply by everyone. Have you been loved so much the people around you started hating? “Some people only hate you because of the way other people love you” Yes Joseph can relate and sometimes it’s not just by your friends and enemies, in this case, it is His own family. Listen to Joseph’s message.

Genesis 37:5 Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. 6 He said to them, Listen to this dream I had: This is where we tend to mess up at by telling our dreams to those who don’t have us in their best interest at heart. Which give them all the reasons to hate even more? Our positions in life will make those around us feel inferior to our dreams without a doubt and will not want to serve alongside us due to jealousy, so keep that in mind.

No matter how much you want to look out for people stay away from Dream Killers. Before you allow anyone to strip you for all you got rescue yourself, and be delivered from the hands of your enemies.

It’s ok to be torn to pieces the best part is to pick yourself back up and Dream Again. it is tough being comforted at such a time we often refuse comfort when things are not going our way and that’s the end of that, because you don’t want to hear what anyone have to say, so you sit and dwell on a million assumptions, but God is saying don’t worry I got this. God knows the plans he has for our lives plans to prosper us and to give us hope and a future. God plans are better than we can imagine. Never be uncertain about your dreams. Click the picture and go visit Isaiah.

“I did what Joseph from the Bible would’ve done: I trusted God and kept my focus on the work in front of me. I had left it in God’s hands, which meant I had trusted that He would take care of me. I kept my faith and worked through much adversity to get to this moment” Isaiah Austin, Pro basketball player Isaiah Austin Foundation
