I want to help you determine what gets your attention. Before you took interest in reading this blog identify what got your attention was it the title? What was it? Have you stopped to think about what is it you need to turn your focus on? I myself could probably turn my focus from what others think about me and focus on what TMH “God” thinks about me the Bible says, ”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11 remember he said “For I Know” and not “They Know” Continue reading “#CupcakesForDinner | GirlTalk on What Gets Your Attention?”
My very first time at The Potter’s House I really enjoyed myself if you haven’t taken the time out I recommend going for your own experience you will be blessed in The Lord. This church is so huge I don’t think I had enough memory to capture everything I saw that’s why it’s best to visit when you can.
Guest Services was so nice to me to have blessed me with a welcome gift which was 2 previous Sunday Morning Services on CD’s, a bookmark for T. D. Jakes Show, a reminder card to remind me that I am Blessed and Loved at The Potter’s House and a welcome packet discovering The Potter’s House. Although my seat was reserved by Cora Jakes Coleman finding a good seat wasn’t a hassle and I’m blessed and highly favored. This weekend has been about nothing but #Thanks
It is so much you can do at The Potter’s House I actually grab a copy of The Potter’s House School of Ministry Licensed Ministerial Training Syllabus & Schedule Overview for their Two-Year Program hmmm it’s definitely worth the relocation because you have to take the training on-site at the actual location. I think this is a good way to keep track and record your progress some churches decide when they think you are ready I guess.
Message: Checked You 2 Bless You
Speaker: Bishop T. D. Jakes
Scripture: John 15:7-8
The difference between burial and planting is the one who put the seed in the ground! You are the most powerful where you are the most connected. There is no way to get to the fruit of an answered prayer life without a cutting. Sacrifice isn’t sacrificing if you don’t have options. Don’t be one that has a relationship with the promises of God, but not a relationship with Him. When He knows you see Him as more important than the mantle He wants to give you, He will open up the windows of Heaven to bless you! For all you have endured, He is about to release fruit in your life. In the abiding process, is the transformation of your desires and what you value. The Father gets glory out of you being fruitful because He put the seed in you. The moment you are more in love with the blesser than the blessing, He will begin to make you more fruitful. You may be in the midst of a test right now, but if He checked you He is going to bless you!
I want to give an Honor to God who is ahead of my life and God bless everyone in their respective places. I am so excited to have visited Ebenezer Baptist Church the very exact church Dr. Martin Luther King Jr preached at under the leadership of the Williams and King families. The focus of their church was food, shelter, and health needs. During the civil rights movement in the 50’s and 60’s Ebenezer gained global exposure for education, voter registration, and other civic reforms.
Rev. King Sr. father of Dr. King Jr. loved his family and his church home the same love he gave his children he gave his membership.
This church has significant value and this is where King’s grandfather and father have served as pastors during the 1960’s, Dr. King severed as co-pastor, and after his assassination, King’s brother took over as co-pastor. Just like any other church that has activities, bible studies, meetings and more were led by King’s grandmother and mother. I can imagine what it is today only if the legacy is still being celebrated. The women of impact and influence that should come through and pay their respects. I mean I would invest and fly out to celebrate.
Annual Women’s Day hosted by Coretta Scott King will be celebrating its 55th year October 2017
I can’t believe I was standing in the church where Mama King was fatally shot in 1974 along with Deacon Edward Boykin and 3 others were wounded. My God, I pray for their families and loved ones. We have to pray for our churches and keep them covered.

FOUNTAIN OF LOVE
The Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall has the exact same appearance it did in the 1960’s when you walk in the church there is audio of Dr. King speeches and sermons. I believe if you went there early enough you can pray over your seat and set back to listen to the exact words Dr. King has preached. I’m not sure if there’s a time limit to your visit but it closes at 5pm.
Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve… You don’t have to know Einstein’s theory of relativity to serve… You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love. And you can be that servant. Martin Luther King Jr. “The Drum Major Instinct” sermon at Ebenezer Baptist Church, February 4, 1968
The biographical exhibits are breath-taking at the King Center this is the place I cried right before going into the Rosa Parks room. The King Center is where both the tombs of Dr. King and wife Mrs. Coretta Scott King are Reflecting.

Whenever you get the chance to come to Atlanta if you don’t already live in Atlanta I suggest you visit to get the full experience because my experience is not your experience. There are people in Atlanta who lived here for years and haven’t taken the time out. Let the Holy Spirit move you. All pictures are mine.

CAN YOU FLY LIKE PAPER?
For those of you that have anxiety like myself let this be self-help for getting on your next flight with no problem. I don’t know how much strength this will give you but the least you can do is say it helped. I need to find my strength at times and it hasn’t been in anyone (God is saying it’s in me), you know that type of strength that gives you a sense of security for when the plane goes down you don’t care because you’re with that one person you’re willing to die with, man I couldn’t even find that within my own mom. Trust me being on a plane reminds you that you are alive. No, I’m not going to sleep, relaxing, nor do I need a neck pillow.
Sometimes we won’t share our fears with others we just go with the flow and ease the pain as it comes. I going to try asking someone, how do you feel about flying? Those that travel more often than others know what to expect I’m not gonna lie I’m the type of person that wants everyone to sit down and don’t move any bit of turbulence I feel I just start repenting on the spot (God forgive me for my sins). I don’t want to talk to my neighbors I’m like hi, thank you and that’s it as they look unbothered. I’m so focusing on the movement and the alerts around me I won’t even buy the $2 wifi and when I think about it I’m so digitally connected I forgot there isn’t a tower in the sky because I’m like why my phone isn’t working. Goes to show you how much I fly.
There’s a list of things you can do to avoid dramatic anxiety: sleep, read, listen to music, spark interesting conversations, write, plan, and the list goes on. I want you to know that you are not alone and someone feels the exact same way.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word based on talk, but in power
1. Declare me righteous in my repentance. God is my protector and I am in his favor because I am saved by His grace
2. I trust you, Lord, to save me from those who are against me, from those who are seeking to tear me to pieces
3. Father forgive me for my wrongdoing it is you who bring justice it is you who forgives
4. My enemies are mighty against me lord and you are mighty against them as I stand on your word and watch you bring them down low to condemn them in all their wickedness
5. Defend me God search my heart look into my mind see that I am true. As you see the hearts of the wicked towards me defend me O Lord
6. Change my ways Father I am a weapon sharpened like a sword and the devil is a liar looking for trouble. Father let the wicked dig a deep ditch and trap themselves they will get caught with their own fire on their own hands. Anyone surrounded by evil will be punished for the evil. Separate me, Lord
7. Save me O God and increase my ability to trust in you. I sing praise to you. Forever Amen
I decree and declare that Your presence, Holy Spirit, fills the homes of every person here.
I decree and declare that Your glory rests on them and even their shadow heals the sick.
I decree and declare that You give everyone a revelation of who You are to them.
God, we ask You for divine appointments today.
Speak to us in a way that we understand. Let us have no doubt that it is You who is talking. And Father we pray for Godly wisdom and confidence to carry out the assignment, even if it makes us uncomfortable.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray…AMEN!
